Breath of Celestial Fire Style

In the Alpha and Omega game Liz uses a variant of the Fire Dragon Style, which I propose was the original version which was later appropriated by Sidereals of the Bronze faction and renamed in honor of Hesiesh.

This write-up represents my attempt to fix the problems stemming from ambiguous wording (eg, dice vs. levels of damage) and strangely designed mechanics. I have noted where changes have already been accepted as house rules and where they are submitted for consideration by Aincumis.

Flash-Fire Technique
As per the MoEP

Flame-Flicker Stance
As per the MoEP.

Searing Flame Prana (replaces Searing Fist Attack, no verdict yet)
Cost: 3m+2m/use ; Mins: MA 3, Ess 2; Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Combo-OK, Crippling, Stackable, Touch
Duration: MA actions
The martial artist focuses fiery essence into her hands. For her MA in actions after she activates this charm she can chose as a non-charm action (reflexive, step 1) to employ this energy as a weapon, inflicting pain and distraction (a cumulative -1 internal penalty) in addition to the damage with a successful attack. Each such attack costs her 2m.
Reason: As written, Liz would probably never use this charm. It costs too much Essence for what it does and needs a combo to be useful in a fight.

Perfect Blazing Blow (approved as a house rule by Aincumis)
Cost: 3m; Mins: MA 3, Ess 2; Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Combo-OK, Obvious
Duration: Instant
As per the MoEP except that the charm's effect is to add 5 automatic successes to the attack.
Reason: As written the mechanics of the charm make it utterly useless.

Breath of Celestial Fire Form
As per Fire Dragon Form from the MoEP.

Fiery Hand Attack (no verdict yet)
As per the MoEP except that the damage is in dice, not in levels (probably the intended meaning?).

Breath of the Sun Dragon (no verdict yet)
As per Breath of the Fire Dragon from the MoEP except that the damage is in dice, not in levels (probably the intended meaning?), and is Combo-OK.

Essence-Igniting Nerve Strike (no verdict yet)
As per the MoEP (keeping the levels-of-damage wording here) except that extra successes on the attack add to damage and can be used against any being with an Essence pool, Mana, Vitae, etc.
Reason: At 5m+1wp this is supposed to be a powerful attack, only as written it isn't. It can only be used against Exalted that have a non-empty personal Essence pool and the damage doesn't become dangerous until Ess 4. Both conditions are especially prohibitive in A&O.

On a related note I would suggest that where levels (not dice) of damage are soaked below the attacker's Essence, the resulting damage is equal to the calculated number of HL plus damage dice to 'fill up' the Essence ping. For example if an Ess 3 attacker deals 6 levels of damage against a soak of 4, the result is two HL of damage plus the result on a one die damage roll. That is, if there isn't an official clarification of the interaction of dice and levels of damage I'm unaware of.

Overwhelming Fire Majesty Stance
As per the MoEP.

Smouldering Wound Attack
As per the MoEP.

Consuming Might of the Celestial Fire
As per Consuming Might of the Fire Dragon from the MoEP.

Other proposed houserules and custom charms

Lightning Speed (proposed Houserule)
As written, except that at Ess 3 the Lawgiver can commit additional Essence to increase her speed even further: Every 3m so employed double her adjusted speed (3m double, 6m triple, 9m quadruple). The maximum she can commit in addition to the 3m of the base charm is 3xEss motes. For example at Ess 3 Liz could commit 12m, increasing her base speed to 10 and quadrupling her adjusted speed to 40 (16 and 64 respectively in a Dash).
Reason: This change brings Lightning Speed up to the power of the Lunar equivalent charm Instinct-Driven Beast Movement, which allows unlimited speed multiplications as long as the Lunar spends enough Essence.

Perfected Movement Meditation (proposed custom charm)
Cost: --; Mins: Ath 5, Ess 3; Type: Permanent
Keywords: --
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisites: Perfect Poise Stance
This charm reduces the cost of all scene-long Athletics charms by 1m. Additionally whenever the Lawgiver uses such a charm, Perfected Movement Meditation allows her to activate (Ess-1) additional scene-long Athletics charms without them counting as a charm use or requiring a combo. For example at Ess 3 Liz could activate Monkey-Leap Technique, Graceful Crane Stance and Spider-Foot Style together without a combo.
