Introduction[edit]

Hello, GURPS fans! This is an online project that I was inspired to start thanks to GURPS Fantasy Dungeon, using the Generic Universal Role Playing System. GURPS is copyrighted to Steve Jackson Games. This material is not endorsed by Steve Jackson Games.

How to make a template[edit]

First, make a new wikiRPG article, statting out the monster or displaying the created map. Maps should be created as linked to one another; label them as such. It is possible to use some sort of grid. Label monsters with some sort of abbreviation that is not taken (such as O for Orc, BB for BugBear, etc.) If the basic initials are taken, spell out the name more (I.E., Or or Orc, BugB or Bugbe, etc.) Keep an emphasis on a lack of confusion between two kinds of abbreviations. These abbreviations will be used to place monsters on the map.

Animal and Monsters Templates[edit]

The following template will be used to describe Animals and Monsters in the dungeons of this project:

      Creature-Name (Class)

Brief Description (at least 50 words or so)

Attributes: ST xx; DX xx; IQ xx; HT xx.

Secondary Characteristics: HP xx; Will xx; Per xx; FP xx; Basic Speed xx.xx; Move xx.

      Traits: trait_1; trait_2; trait_3; ... ; trait_n.
Any advantage or disadvantage that is, in fact, a meta-trait, should include a page reference to that trait, or include a link to the location of the definition of that meta-trait.

      Skills: skill_1-xx; skill_2-xx; skill_3-xx; ... ; skill_n-xx.

Combat Statistics: SM xx; DR xx; Dodge xx; Block xx; Parry xx.

Rival Parties within the Dungeon[edit]

Rather than throw monsters this or monster that at the group, there should also be other parties of adventurers in the Dungeon who are usually after something the PCs are or should be after as well. They can be 'evil' and an effective counter to the PCs. Occasionally they may have to ally themselves with the PCs to take out a particularly powerful monster, but they will break the alliance when it suits them.
