==Background==
Korto knows nothing of his birthplace.  He was born a (human) boy who was a slave owned by a merchant.  He developed horns at an early age, and was subsequently traded to an Uroxi warband in exchange for their protection across Prax to the merchant.  Korto was raised by Uroxi and embodies all that implies.  As he aged, he grew into his massive build and gradually transformed into a full minotaur.

He has wandered far and wide in Prax, acting as a mercenary, honing his skills, and fighting chaos wherever he finds it.  As young minotaur he challenged a great troll to arm wrestling.  When the bought began, he immediately headbutted the great troll, knocking it unconscious.  He grabbed the great lead mace of the creature as his prize and did a mighty war dance in the midst of the trolls gathered around.  Most appreciated the display, or were won over after he bought a round of drinks for everyone.  He's developed a taste for the various drinks of the trolls and for their delicious food.  He has contacts in Battle Valley and has frequented the troll-side of Adari.  He has even purchased a trollkin scout that he treats as a favored pet.

Once while wandering the Zola Fel valley, he encountered a patrol of the Marble Phalanx.  When the centenarian of that patrol called him a "son of a broo", Korto hit the human so hard on the head with his mace that the man's balls shot out the eye holes.  Korto took the man's shield for himself and proudly carries his war trophy into battle.
