This is a PbP Pathfinder game, run by Raiu.

"The world exists in three states: Below, the world exists in darkness, unknowing of the light of our Holy Master. Above, warriors on flying ships fight wars of avarice, killing in the name of coin and land. And on the surface, in between two extremes, we live, hunted by monsters, creatures that bash themselves against our mighty walls, begging for a way inside. We live in a time of turmoil, caused by the death of Emperor Zant and the fall of his mighty Zaean Empire. With once protected settlements without protectors, the lives of the people have become hard and fearful. Darkness encroached the land and all seemed lost.

None could possibly believe that salvation would come from a small band of mercenaries in the backwater lands of the former empire."

-Arngel, scribe of the Holy Flame.

Mirwa of the Gentle Smile[edit]

Domains: Healing, Weather Alignment: NG Favored Weapon: None
Special: Clerics of Mirwa have the traits Sacred Touch and Caretaker in place of Medium Armor and Shield proficiency. Restrictions: Clerics of Mirwa may never cast the reverse forms of cure spells, and in general abusing Mirwa's blessings to cause harm is likely to result in becoming an ex-cleric.
Archetypes: Evangelists, Merciful Healers, and Theologians are common.

She tempers the the blazing Sun to a comforting warmth; she calms the raging sea to peaceful waves; she quiets the tumultuous storm to a playful rain; she soothes the howling wind to a whispering breeze, she eases the hurtful pain to a sad memory.

Mirwa in some aspects is the goddess of tranquil weather and healing. More philosophically, she is the goddess of kindness, gentleness, and mercy. Her clerics are usually female, though anyone can be a worshiper.

Her faith is centered in shrines found mainly in small towns. Even in great cities, her shrines will be small, modest affairs. Traveling priestesses of Mirwa are referred to as Shrinesisters; those who tend the shrines may be Shrinesisters or Shrinemothers. Her few male priests are also called Shrinesisters or Shrinemothers. There is little hierarchy; a Shrinemother, within her shrine, is always senior to any Shrinesisters, but words of wisdom and kindess are weighed by their content, not who uttered them.

Priestesses of Mirwa are highly sought by certain mercenary companies. Not only are their healing powers valuable, but the presence of a Shrinesister marks a mercenary company as one that did not indulge in looting or rape, bolstering the company's reputation.
