From the day he was born, Penur vowed to help the people of the world by giving them the gift of virtue and conscience. At the dawning of human civilization, Penur gave pieces of his vow to the two leaders of the world, Courage and his brother, a philosopher known only as Law. Courage also banished Adonizar to Pandemonium after he had twisted the minds of the orcs, goblinoids, ogres, and giants from Law's order and unity.

Courage is a commander of Penur's armies, should he need aid, roaming the world of the Material Plane to help those who face insurmountable odds until called, in hopes of instilling Penur's word into their hearts. He is rarely seen, and it is claimed that he assumes the form of a humanoid to help the frontier's and armies.
