Character Backstory[edit]

Jalp Roughfang was a born entertainer. He was unfortunately also born to a particularly hardscrabble kobold clan with little time for frivolity and no use for his talents, and his clanmates were more than happy when he joined a passing circus. Finding work as a musician, he threw himself into the role, trying to make a mark for himself by trying out and inventing new acts with perhaps more enthusiasm than brains. When he regained consciousness in the aftermath of one such attempt, he said he had received a vision from the dragon gods, who had commanded him to go forth and perform bold deeds in the manner of the heroes of old. The fact he has already inspired others to follow him on the path of heroism fills him with confidence.
