Character Generation:[edit]

Charms (All):[edit]

• Characters (except Infernals) begin with all excellencies that their stats qualify them for. Infernals instead know all General Charms of their patron Yozi and their favoured Yozi, which upgrade themselves automatically upon raising Essence without necessitating repurchases. The General Charms of all other Yozis are treated normally.
• The selection of a Sorcery Charm includes two spell selections of the appropriate circle. Additional charm selections used for spells enables three spell selections instead of the default.
• Custom charms from PoH’s Hundredfold Facets of Enlightenment, Jon Chung rewrites, Perfect Lotus Volume 1 and 2, and The Demented One are available for use as are those created by Jon Chung and DementedElf. All other custom charms, spells, and martial arts will need to be posted for group review and ST approval.
• All books are available for use.

Character Traits[edit]

Traits may be of any value, with a maximum of 5 or Permanent Essence, whichever is higher; without requiring the spending of bonus points.

Health Levels[edit]

Characters gain a number of Ox-Body Techniques equal to their Resistance.

Craft Ability[edit]

Craft (X) is considered and treated like a specialty and priced accordingly. There is no non-specialty Craft, and so Craft Specialties have a limit of 5 dots (or Essence, whichever is higher) per specialty. If you wish to further specialize your Craft (X), additional specialties of specialties may be purchased at one-half the cost of a normal specialty.

Martial Arts Styles[edit]

Celestial[edit]

• The expansion charms for Solar Hero Style are considered to be native Solar Charms, and are therefore only available to Solars, Fiend caste Infernals, and Moonshadow caste Abyssals.
• Lunar Hero Style and Wedded Moon Style are considered native Lunar styles.
Sidereal
• Lunars may initiate into Sidereal Martial Arts by the same methods as Solars and Abyssals.

Rounding[edit]

• All Essence-Users round up when calculating any value. (Regardless of what the books say.)
• All Non-Essence-Users round down when calculating any value. (Regardless of what the books say.)

Celestial Exalt Generation[edit]

Solar Exalt Generation[edit]

• 7 Favored Abilities. 42 Ability Dots, at least 10 in Caste or Favored.
• 15 Background Dots.
• 15 Charms, at least 5 must be from Favored or Caste Abilities.
• 7 Virtue Dots.
• Essence 3, max 5 at character generation
• 30 Bonus Points, +15 Bonus Points for non-magical traits only.
• Automatic Background: Lunar Bond 5. An automatic and modified version of the merit Eternal Vow from the 1E Players Guide is also in effect. Said modification allows for the communication of thoughts, emotions and sensations over extended distances. At the player's option, the True Love merit can be defined as automatically included in the above backgrounds; such is not required and may or may not be reciprocated. The majority of NPCs will have this option enabled by default. The requirements for True Love are waived for, and only for, the purposes of inclusion in the bond.

Infernal Exalt Generation[edit]

• Attributes: Primary (9 dots), Secondary (7 dots), and Tertiary (5 dots)
• Attributes: 3 free dots to place in Caste or Favored Attributes instead of 1.
• 2 Favored Abilities. 42 Ability Dots, at least 1 in each Caste and Favored.
• 15 Background Dots.
• 12 Charms and 6 Knacks, at least 4 Charms must be selected from Caste or Favored Attributes. Charm selections may be used to purchase Knacks.
• 7 Virtue Dots.
• 30 Bonus Points, +15 Bonus Points for non-magical traits only.
• Essence 3, max of Essence 5 at character generation.
• Lunars: Heart's Blood background is disregarded. Any reasonable forms may be used with or without a flashback scene, as appropriate.
• Automatic Background: Solar Bond 5. An automatic and modified version of the merit Eternal Vow from the 1E Players Guide is also in effect. Said modification allows for the communication of thoughts, emotions and sensations over extended distances. At the player's option, the True Love merit can be defined as automatically included in the above backgrounds; such is not required and may or may not be reciprocated. Sidereal Exalt Generation[edit]

Sidereals use the Loom 2.0 by Plague of Hats.
• 6 Favored Abilities. 52 Ability Dots, at least 10 in Caste or Favored. All minimum ability scores for the character’s caste must still be met.
• 23 Background Dots.
• 17 Charms, at least 5 Charms must come from Auspicious or Favored Abilities.
• 10 Colleges, at least 4 from Maiden’s college.
• 7 Virtue Dots.
• Essence 3, max 5 at character generation
• 30 Bonus Points, +15 Bonus Points for non-magical traits only.

Ally Generation: Dragon-blooded[edit]

Dragon-Blooded, Dynastic:[edit]

• 5 Favored Abilities. 52 Ability Dots, at least 19 from Aspected or Favored. Standard minimum requirements for a Dynastic Dragon-Blooded.
• 23 Background Dots.
• 10 Charms, at least 6 from Aspected or Favored OR 7 Immaculate Charms
• 7 Virtue Dots.
• 30 Bonus Points, +15 Bonus Points for non-magical traits only.

Dragon-Blooded, Lookshy:[edit]

• 5 Favored Abilities. 52 Ability Dots, at least 19 from Aspected or Favored. Standard minimum requirements for a Lookshy Dragon-Blooded.
• 24 Background Dots.
• 9 Charms, at least 6 from Aspected or Favored. Wind-Carried Word Technique and Elemental Bolt Attack are treated as bonus charms.
• 7 Virtue Dots.
• 30 Bonus Points, +15 Bonus Points for non-magical traits only.

Dragon-Blooded, Outcaste:[edit]

• 5 Favored Abilities. 37 Ability Dots, at least 19 from Aspected or Favored.
• 15 Background Dots.
• 10 Charms, at least 6 from Aspected or Favored.
• 7 Virtue Dots.
• 30 Bonus Points, +15 Bonus Points for non-magical traits only.
