The Advanced Kinetic Semiotics Institute attracts young Mages predominantly, especially those with Insights that grant them Access to Forces or Matter. It is concerned primarily with finding and dismantling Infrastructure in order to get a look inside as well as to watch how it gets repaired—and what starts going wrong before it is repaired.
They have not claimed responsibility for any Patches or Upgrades, but do claim to be responsible for the launch failure of an Upgrade two years ago that Faulted violently enough to spawn the Rain Dog anomalies that still prowl around Toronto during storms.
What You Hear[edit]
- They are part of the larger Reverse Engineering movement of those who seek to deconstruct all the works of the God-Machine in order to build a better one.
- Their leader has a line on Last.
- They captured an angel once but totally bungled it and are now suborned entirely.
