Background
Twin brother to Eriq Godrick (Devil of Dockside, The), Aaron had a much different upbringing then his demonic appearing sibling. While Eriq was generally kept out of sight, Aaron was the apple of his father's eye. They'd go fishing and hunting, and more then anything Aaron wanted to be like his old man. That all changed when he watched Abraham Godrick beat Eriq once his powers appeared. For the first time Aaron, began to fear his father.
The truth is that Eriq wasn't the only one whose powers manifested that night. Aaron woke up floating above his bed. He was flying and he loved it. Rushing downstairs he saw what happened when Eriq revealed his abilities. Aaron decided it was best to keep quiet about his. Because his relationship with Abraham could never be what it was, Aaron attempted to get to know his brother better. Unfortunately they had never been close, and now Eriq spent much of his time out of the house as Kid Devil.
Aaron excelled at sports and academics (mostly to keep his father happy), although he was always careful not to hurt anyone with his unnatural strength. For the most part life was good. His father seemed back to normal, Eriq was happy (even dating), and Aaron had a full scholarship for college. Just before his 18th birthday, Eriq came to him claiming their father was some kind of madman. Aaron had long since realized he father was imperfect, but couldn't believe this. They had a loud argument, ending when Eriq stormed off. Frustrated, when his father questioned him about the noise Aaron let slip what Eriq suspected. Abraham told Aaron he was a good son, and that night Astoria erupted with violence. His father was arrested for a laundry list of crimes, Eriq never came home, his mother started turning to the bottle, and his hometown would never be the same. Aaron felt that he could have prevented it all had he just listened to his brother.
After getting his degree, Aaron relocated to Port City and decided he wouldn't sit back an do nothing. Creating the identity of Aegis, he quickly became Port City's greatest hero. The residents were happy to have him, since Port City's only other hero was the terrifying Devil of Dockside. Aegis was surprised to find his brother fighting crime on the West Coast as well and how much the once irreverent twin had changed.
Personality
Both as Aaron and Aegis, he appears to be to good to be true. He's selfless and generous and always willing to lend a helping hand. If anything he sometimes tries to do to much, and just can't forgive himself when he fails. He's love to mend his relationship with his brother, but at this point it doesn't seem likely to happen.
Appearance
Aegis is a good looking man, sleek black hair, gorgeous eyes he's especially popular among Port City's female population. Because of his mixed African and Caucasian heritage, people often wonder what race he actually his (and he secretly enjoys making them wonder). His green and black costume, is taken from his high school's colors.
