After Light

An Apocalyptic Magical Girl game using Chuubo's Marvelous Wish Granting Engine.

Pitch

The world was supposed to end. The forces arrayed against us were subtle and strong, spreading disaster and despair, unseen by the teeming masses of humanity-that-was.

But a team of teenage girls using powers granted, smuggled, and stolen, emerged, becoming urban legends, and heros of the Night.

Fighting against the monsters from the stars, they forced them away for a time, defeating plot and beast one after the other. 

But The King of the Void had drawn enough power to unleash a tide of unreason and darkness, staunched only by the Princess of Light's sacrfice.

Now, no sun or moon shines in the sky, and outside the carefully maintained borders, people warp into monsters, or starve. 

But you are a Magical Girl, a Lord of Hope, and thru your magics and your leadership humanity can survive. 

Or so you hope. .

It's the end of the world, you won, but your Victory cost you your best friend, and the lives of more people then you could count in a lifetime. Also. .. you might have sort of broke the universe?
