Akram

The Akram, a race of zen-esque monks. Their holdings in the galaxy are minimal, three systems in a small star cluster and a few mines. They are well known for their capacity for war and employ close range "grappler" type battleships for space combat. However they are generally unwilling to wage war unless their own holdings are directly threatened.
