Alani and the Flying Tigers

The Japanese are attempting to use Alani's islands as a base to attack American shipping. Alani starts the film as a captive of the Japanese, before being rescued by Captain Cliff Striker of the Flying Tigers Air Squadron. She and the Tigers then wage a short guerilla war to free her people from the occupiers, followed by a dual climax with Alani and her people fighting soldiers on the ground while the Flying Tigers take on their planes in the air. The cinematography of both battle sequences is justly famous.
