Moves

All the basic moves. Both chopper moves:

  • Pack alpha: when you try to impose your will on your gang, roll+hard. On a 10+, all 3. On a 7–9, choose 1:
    • they do what you want
    • they don’t fight back over it
    • you don’t have to make an example of one of them
On a miss, someone in your gang makes a dedicated bid to replace you for alpha.
  • Fucking thieves: when you have your gang search their pockets and saddlebags for something, roll+hard. It has to be something small enough to fit. On a 10+, one of you happens to have just the thing, or close enough. On a 7–9, one of you happens to have something pretty close, unless what you’re looking for is hi-tech, in which case no dice. On a miss, one of you used to have just the thing, but it turns out that some asswipe stole it from you.

Look

A tough, wiry man, Haggard is noticeable for his clear blue eyes (which is half of how he got his nickname) and perpetually shaved head. He and his gang are dressed in a combination of cold weather gear and looted or homemade armor. Unlike some of the flashier gangs, Haggard and his gang have painted or dirtied their bikes, clothes, and equipment to blend into the red landscape. This act led many people to call them the name by which they are generally known today: the Rust Dogs.

Gear

Haggard's bike is a heavily modified Kusawa 850 (Sleek, Muscular) modified for use in the harsh Martian landscape (Fast, Rugged). The power comes at a price: the retrofitted batteries can't supply that much juice for long, meaning that spares are always in high demand (Guzzler). For weapons, Haggard carries a sawed-off shotgun (3-harm close reload messy) and a well-honed machete (3-harm hand messy).

Gang

The Rust Dogs (3-harm gang small 1-armor) currently consist of about fifteen men and women armed with scavenged and makeshift weapons and armor, and riding a variety of two and four wheeled vehicles. Haggard has beaten them into pretty good order (Well-disciplined) and the recent discovery of an arms cache (Well-armed. +1harm) has made them even more dangerous. However, recent bad times has put the Red Dogs in debt to a local hardholder (Vulnerable: obligation) who sheltered them during a powerful dust storm.
