Background

Alex & her mother don't really get along. And she hates her father. So when she over-heard her mother gossiping about how Alex's father was a mistake induced by a possessing ghost (and thus so was Alex)...Alex became very, very interested in the occult. Especially as her mom divorced her first husband less than half a year before Alex was born. She's not sure who her biological father is - she's desperately hoping it's not the slob she's supposed to call "dad".

She'd "gone goth" and was busily chasing through all the goth literature trying to find what was true and what wasn't when the events in New York rocked the world, and she found her true calling.

She's going to be a Ghostbuster. Never mind she decided that when she was a senior in high school.

She cleaned off most of the goth trappings and set to work applying to join a franchise. Four years and 63 rejection letters later - she was finally 20 years old, and got accepted on letter 64. (This was also after HQ decided that while she still couldn't drink, she was technically no less qualified than anyone else to use an unlicensed nuclear accelerator. And after she passed her GRE's, a fitness test, and wrote a critical essay comparing cross-referencing technics as applied to Tobin's, De Vurmis Mysteries, and Nameless Cults.)

She was not accepted to MIT, which didn't bother her, was accepted to Harvard but found the program unacceptable, and absolutely heartbroken when she couldn't afford Miskatonic University. She's settled for Boston University, and hates her old money peers who don't even appreciate MU for what it is.

Appearance

Thin, and on the shorter side, she's five foot tall on a good day. Brown eyes, brown hair bleached white, along with eyebrows. Pierced eyebrow (right). Suit will look baggy on her, and people have a real question as to whether she can walk while wearing a suit. She seems to get around okay with it though...aiming...is still a learning process. The proton pack has quite the kick.
