Dear Percy,

First of all, thank you very much for the excellent job in casting. I remain indebted to your uncanny knack for bringing out the best in people. They are all excellent choices, and extremely dedicated.

Second, having put you and your cast into danger, I feel that I must tell you the full story regarding the ongoing events. Also, there is the distinct possibility that I will not live through the upcoming events, in which case it would be nice if someone could make a dramatic biopic. I don't have time to write a script, and you have much better writers anyway, but I'll give a brief treatment.

[Insert Title Here][edit]

Attractive German youth growing up as the Nazis come into power, split between his imaginary world (or so he thinks) which is his comfort -- and the real world which is his strength. In his imaginary world was Brandon and Glamaria... in the real world was his foster father and the army, with strong, good men like Röhm. He has some dabblings with drugs and a liaison or two. (This might be a good place to add some "production value".)

Cut ahead to England, 1943. Now dispirited by years of war and the betrayals of the party, our hero works with the Resistance. Good solid, working class people (and some women) but with no sex appeal whatsoever. Then things start to get strange. A secret operation nets a talking squid creature. People who appear and disappear. Power and danger cast about.

Suddenly the scope opens in a special effects extravaganza. There is a cosmic war between the totalitarian force of Order, and the darkly evil masses of Chaos. However, there are good faces within each side. Like the Germans, Chaos is the invader who don't care about who they trample in their assault. He discovers powers he once thought were hallucinations and dreams. He can more through reality, but he also finds he has a hideous demon form.

But here's his dilemma: Like Germany in the Great War, the forces of Chaos have extended themselves in their attempted conquest. They may be defeated on the battlefield, but Amber plans to wall off against further attack with a mystic Maginot line. (Insert flashbacks of post-war Germany here in a montage) Will this be future doom for both sides? He casts about for alternatives, talking to different sides. For the war to truly end, he fears that Amber must march into Chaos, devastate and occupy it.

So, that's what I've got so far. I can't give you the third act yet.

If you don't get anything more from me, but your reality doesn't dissolve into nothing, then hopefully something good happened. I'm a sucker for a happy ending. Maybe have a turning point scene where he has infiltrated the armies of Chaos besieging Amber in his grotesque demon form, and betrays them to his friends who have reformed Amber to unite the bickering sides. This is only the start of a long and painful war, but in the end the reformed Amber makes peace with the new revolutionary government of Chaos -- handing them the stolen Serpent's Eye to cement the alliance.

Just rewrite the plot as necessary to make that a little more believable.

Yours truly,

Manfred
