Android

The first of these artificial beings came from the technological marvels of a a great ship that landed in Antanides a thousand years ago. Their purpous is unknown and their human shape was the ships attempt to create creatures that could interact with mortals without causing an unnecessary amount of panic. There were three originally, Emissary, Legate, and Infiltrator.

However, the small number of creatures that the known android race consists of are not the same as the Emissary and the Legate found on the Ship. These are the imperfect children of the third sibling, Infiltrator, who abandoned the Ship after the events involving Lukien Val-Tarris. Using the strange magic of the stars Infiltrator managed to upgrade certain foundries that had once created warforged to create a more organic version of that race. These new androids are more flesh and blood than their progenitor but they still swarm with nanites and they are ignorant of their true origins (at least most of them are). Like most mortals it is believed that they have souls. Like the humans that they so closely resemble, androids can be found in many roles, and though their lack of personality and emotion makes it extremely rare for them to be bards or paladins, they excel at logic and tactics making them excellent fighters and wizards.
