Director of Development
The Director of Development is the member of the Foundation's Operations staff responsible for fundraising activities. This includes grants (research and grant writing), the annual fund (telephone solicitations and mailings), targetted giving (contact with specific wealthy individuals) and development events (banquets &c.). The Director manages a staff of two and must also work closely with the Director of Finance and Executive Director to make sure that the Foundation's financial needs are being met and with the Director of Programs to make sure that applied-for grants fit the needs of individual programs.
