Annelids: Talonfang Bugs 5: Sharp edges erupt abruptly from your body to slash at opponents. They do +5 damage, and may be used for counterattacks. The first attack you make against any new opponent constitutes a Sneak Attack. You may launch them as a ranged weapon; they regenerate at the end of the Scene.

Chitinshells 5: Annelids grow strong webbing underneath your skin, raising your Vitality score. You may also spin webs, letting you grapple and entangle opponents, and you may channel Ki through them, letting you boost the damage with a Chitinshell attack by +1 per 2 Soul spent on the attack.

Blood Hulker 2: Your muscles suddenly bulge as parasites enhance them. You may raise your Body by 2, but at the cost of lowering your Agility by 2 as well.

Background: You're a dancer and singer, a wandering entertainer across the face of Tenra. That's a dangerous business, especially for a woman traveling alone, so it's just as well that you have a hobby-- you're an Annelidist, a user and scholar and trainer of the mysterious parasitic creatures native to this land, and you keep a large number of them as pets... inside your own body.

And it's well worth it. They protect you, keep you strong, fight with you. You can spin webs or grow spines, and make yourself a deadly foe, as well. Of course, they do need to be fed-- some Annelidists are forced to consume rotting flesh!-- but you're careful, and your pets only need fresh fruit and water, and some blood, which you normally get from small birds and vermin.

You've been wandering on your own for a long time now, and while you enjoy your work, the simple fact is that you're lonely, and your symbiotes simply are no substitute. You don't need a lover (although you might take one)-- you want a family. Almost any kind will do.
