HISTORY:

From the island of Santa Prisca, Bane came with a grudge against Batman, breaking his will and breaking his back, only to be defeated by Azrael, who was filling in for Batman while he recovered. He then fell in with Ras al Ghul, falling in love with his daughter Talia, though he later grew to hate the two of them.
