Baron Duerté
Baron Duerté is descended from noble stock that was granted rights to settle on Verbena. His family established a small plantation, it failed, and the family went bankrupt. They were able to sell some of the land rights to Interstellar Hardwoods to build a Mill and Plant in Pottersville. The Baron saw his fortune dwindling still but was able to make a living turning his house into a place of civil entertainment. At first, it was a sort of speak-easy, then it slowly became a brothel as he 'enlisted' prostitutes to work the floor. He has invested heavily in a cruel system of obedience collars to ensure the girls perform their duties.
