Bastion is a +1 shield forged by the dwarves of Arduum from a dragon scale from the Ancient Red Dragon Rayna the Red.
Exceptionally strong and light, this enchanted shield also serves to protect the wielder from fire as per the resist fire spell:
The one creature this is cast on will not be harmed by fire or heat for the duration of the spell. The creature will save at +2 against magical fire and will reduce each die of damage by 1.
