Janus Sand

Janus Sand / The man Clavis dealt with was short and a bit on the weedy side with a mop of tousled brown hair and a friendly smile.

Kirian

Kirian is tall, thin, long nose - noble-looking, pale with straggly long black hair.

Timeline

• Caster's thugs visit and beat Alcoth up for not paying rent.
• Alcoth is assassinated.
• Janus Sands turns up wanting to talk to Alcoth about the Marshal, but presumably finds Alcoth's corpse instead.
• After taking Alcoth's rosette, Sands went to see Hierophant Kasobel
• later that night he attended the Arbites party from which he was removed for drunken and disorderly behaviour,
• eventually turning up in front of Clavis for psy-checking.
