Backstory/Bio[edit]
Cedric's family ran a general store, selling a little bit of everything (ie food, clothing, toys, weapons basically a glorified catalogue store), somewhere out on the Rim. He had no real plans for his future beyond maybe taking over the family business after taking some business management courses (he parents believed in a good education and saved up to send him and his siblings to school).
He had just graduated (he did ok, not great, but not terrible either) when the unification war happened and he signed up where it turned up he had more than a little talent. That talent plus training (plus the fact that, like everyone else where he lived, he hunted) turned him into one of the best snipers in the Independent's forces. By the end of the war he was a sergeant and leading small units.
When the order came to lay down arms he just walked off the battlefield, got himself a berth on (for some reason autocorrect wants to 'correct' on into in*sigh*) a transport and eventually worked his way up to the role of first mate (why would Nadezhda Riley want Cedric as first mate?).
Naturally soft spoken Cedric doesn't tell when he gets mad he just becomes colder and more intense(?) the angrier he gets. Only a fool wouldn't realize the danger they are in when he gets well and truly pissed (unfortunately, the 'Verse is just full of fools). The rest of the time he tends to be friendly and big brotherly (fatherly? I'm my mind he's in his early 30's and probably among the older crewmembers) and when he has to discipline someone he's not mad just disappointed. He only yells when he has to.
Bound by Law[edit]
- The authorities are looking for you. They just want to talk. Promise. What do they think you are guilty of? Did you do what they think you did?
Maybe it's about the fight on Persephone? Or Ariel? Or...well you get the idea. Seems wherever I go someone has an opinion on my wardrobe. Or politics. Or my own person. It's not like I started any fight."
Friends in Low Places[edit]
- You know a guy. Who are they? Describe a GMC your character knows well enough to call on for the occasional favor. This contact is a purely narrative asset with no die ranking.
Let's see, there was this guy. What was his name..? Oh yeah, Dmitry. Could always seem to get whatever you wanted. No wait. Nah he caught a bullet a week 'fore the end of the war. Guess there's always my old CO, Colonel Majors (yeah, I know). Heard they bought their commission (came from money). Still, they was a stand up person. Always made sure we had what we needed and a little extra besides. "
Cedric is a little over 6ft tall with brown hair nd Brown eyes
