Enemy: Turns out the Advanced Idea Mechanics are not too fond of interns destroying a lab and stealing their technology and they are willing to make an example.
Motivation: Doing Good: All the brains in the world don't matter if when presented with the choice to do right or to do wrong, a person can't pick the right thing. You reap what they sow. Doing good, treating people with kindness, all of it builds to something greater.
Power Loss: Bigby's Hands mimic the users movement and do not work if the user's hands are bound.
Relationship: Lucius's sister Laura has recently moved out the NYC after having a rough time back in Drain and is staying with him. She's secretly a mutant too but he doesn't know that, just that there is something wrong she won't tell him.
Secret: Having made an enemy of AIM, Lucius is trying his best to keep his hero identity and normal identity seperate. It's making his studies hard and his constant disappearances are making his relationship with his sister difficult.

Background[edit]
Lucius Steel grew up in the small town of Drain, Oregon and hated every minute of it. He wanted to live in an actual city. He wanted to see exciting places. And he wanted a name that didn't sound ridiculous if you didn't have superpowers or a PhD.
He was excited when he discovered he had a mutant ability when he was 12. Lucius swore he was going to practice and then show it off to everyone, but after months of trying he realized all he seemed to be able to do was tell what card someone had drawn from a deck of cards. Embarassed he kept his power (such as it was) a secret.
That was when he decided he needed a PhD to make his name more tolerable.
He seemed smarter (and is still unclear ifhis intelligence is part of his mutantion or he just needed motivation) and his grades in school greatly improved. Lucius moved to New York for College and is currently enrolled in a graduate program.
His career in superheroing actually started as an internship for a company call Omnitech, where he worked on a number of advanced technical projects. Lucius loved it, until he found out it was an AIM front. They offered him everything he could have dreamed of to sign up, all it would cost was his soul.
Lucius didn't take long to decide and after stealing a few devices he destroyed the lab and apprehended the AIM leaders.
After that, he just kept falling into more situations where he could help and he never hesitated to do so.
Recently his younger sister as moved in with him, troubled by something that happened back home.
