Stephen Daulare, Professor, Linguistics. 57. A tad unstable; stabbed himself to prevent the Bliss from taking him, which... only sort of worked. He's been going on 7 years sleepless, and it shows. Prone to emotional outburts, which he's TRYING to keep under a lid; self-medication with lithium/valproic acid pills only SLIGHTLY helps...

He used to be a well-liked, if somewhat irrelevant, professor of semantic linguistics (figuring out the meaning behind word choices and etymology) with no small command of ancient English and Greek - as well as many modern languages; now he feels like Earth couldn't have a worse leader (a thought he keeps to himself).

Though he is proud of "his" kids, he doesn't hardly know what the Hell he's doing - and tries to hide this by soliciting thier input whenever possible. "Boardroom," Cptn. Picard style command. His OWN boy and wife are... gone, and he's still not completely over them - which he IS willing to show.

He is, however, dedicated to striking as deep a blow as possible - a good sign is that he replaced the Latin motto of UCB with a banner saying "Recompense Canicula Est (Payback's A Bitch)."
