Appearance

In appearance, she tends to wear tight, close fitting clothing. Long dresses covered in bright and pretty colours with elaborate patterns and swirls on them, with fairly open tops to give her some freedom in her arm movement and to show off her petticoat, with a padded collar of a sort that's fairly uncommon in the city, and elaborate frills and embrodiery. Her black hair tends to be tied up in rolls, with lots of jewels and thread and pretty things to add to it's sheen. Her skin is pale and sun damaged, from her long days being forced to play organ grinders out for the pleasure of londoners. She's missing her ring finger on her left hand, from when she fell in love as a human with another slave and managed to convince her master to chop that off rather than punishing her lover and has a number of old injuries and scars hidden under clothes which didn't heal fully when she was embraced.

Background

Caterina, also known as nine fingers was brought over as an indentured worker/ slave from Italy, forced to play for food by a harsh master. She impressed an old vampire immigrant from the Medici with her beauty and skill at music, singing, art and such and was vamped up. She since then adopted a similar clothing style and art style to much of the old Medici fashions and became more cheerful and peppy. She works hard to bring out the inner artistic spirit in other Italians and aid them in bettering themselves and gaining freedom through humor, bluffing, and artistic challenges. She's quite cheerful in the Toleador hierarchy as it gives her a chance to be as flamboyant and wild as possible and interact with lots of cool people like herself.

On a more dark side, she has little care for privacy in the pursuit of art. When she takes a fancy to someone it's not uncommon for her to sneak into their room to see them, or to summon them away for her amusement. She is a creature of the night so if one of her little angels who did a fantastic performance today is sleeping that's going to serve as no bar to her dark obsessions. She moves on from her obsessions quickly enough, finding someone fascinating, raising them up, and moving on to another. Still, she is against murder or violence, and has a strong and rigid moral code because it would be so easy to slip up.
