Chapter One: Mark of Prophecy[edit]
The Seeker meet at a Memorial Day celebration held by Bren ir'Gadden.
The celebration brings back memories of the last days of the Last War, when they took the Tower of Scars and saved Bren ir'Gadden and Aric Blacktree from the clutches of Demise and strange monsters.
At the Tower of Scars, the Seeker hear four stanzas of the Draconic Prophecy referring to six people standing against the tempest's roar.
At the celebration, Bren ir'Gadden is seemingly attacked by a Mourning Wraith and he employs the Seekers to find his assassin.
The Seekers follow the trail only to stumble on an Emerald Claw hideout. During their investigations Pascal is killed by an ambush of strange monsters (like those seen at the Tower of Scars) and Bladebearer Goblins.
The Seekers assault the Emerald Claw hideout and neutralise a powerful eldritch machine designed to destory Kruthiks.
On returning to Bren ir'Gadden, he is revealed as a nefarious changeling called Garrow. He set up his own assassination to try and kill one of the Seekers so as to be one of the six referred to in the Draconic Prophecy, as well as to trick them in destorying the Emerald Claws' eldritch machine.
