Chapter Three: Ashurta's Tomb[edit]
Carric had deciphered the mysterious text found in the Emerald Claw hideout as to where the eldritch device was to be used. This also seemed to coincide with the place that he had had a strange vision he had of his dead brother, Theren. The vision was interrupted when he was attacked by Bladebearers.
Having located the entrance to the tomb, the Seekers proceeded inside. They discovered the tomb was of Ashurta, a hobgoblin hero of the Dhakaani Empire, who wielded a blade that was part of the Ashen Crown. His tomb told of his exploits in fighting against the Xoriat.
Eventually, the Seekers confronted Ashurta and defeated him. Carric took the balde as his won. He experienced another vision of Theren in which he was told that the Ashen Crown was given to the Goblins by the Elves, not stolen. It also told him that he had to undergo the Amalakor or "honour fight".
After leaving the temple, Demise calling herself Lady Dannae Ulyan invited them to a dinner at the Oaks restaurant to offer to buy it from them. They refused and she vowed to make them pay.
