The rare times she is seen in her (now rather unfamiliar) human form, she's a surprisingly plain, petite woman. In her warform, she wears a flowing robe of shimmering moonsilver spider-silk, a gift from her Silver Pact mentor before his untimely death. In battle, she wields razor-sharp moonsilver strands of essence webbing, using them to flow and cut around her opponent. In battle, she moves like a black shadow lined with shining silver, staying in one space and moving the flow of battle around her, instead of the other way around

Flaws

• Dark Secret: 5. Weaver killed her Silver Pact tutor in an argument over the killing of a Chimaera. 15 years ago, her tutor wanted to wipe out the village that they had been overseeing so that the dark shame of the Lunar Exalted could not possibly be spread. Weaver couldn't allow that and so during the battle with the Chimaera, she murdered her tutor, naively hoping that the Chimaera would return her mercy. But a Chimaera cannot comprehend empathy or mercy, let alone return it. It saw a weakened enemy and an entire feast of mortals spread before it.

So, easily knocking aside Weaver, the monster devoured every inhabitant of the village while Weaver looked on helplessly. She was found later by another Steward, and when a meeting was called, they saw her weeping, although her war-form had no tear-ducts.

"She cries in fear for what she shall do for her failure." One said.

"She cries in shame for her failure." Said another.

"No, she cries in guilt for her failure, for her tutor died and so did her stewardship." Said the third.

The third one was correct, but not in the way she thought.

Weaver has kept the secret ever since, but it is by far her greatest shame and spiritual burden. If the Silver Pact found out, she would lose everything, and most likely be hunted down by her former colleagues.

• Enemy: 3 - Chi'ah'ch'thu'ch'tha.

Chi'ah is the name given to the Chimaera that destroyed the village that Weaver and her tutor had overseen when she was still new. She knows that it's still alive, and this fact keeps her up at night. It is far more intelligent that it's feral behaviour would indicate and knows that she knows that it is alive, so it will take the chance to strike first if possible. In the meantime, it continues massacring whatever it should come across, further adding to the Lunar's guilt. Ten Thousand Steps has tried to "cut" Weaver's destiny from Chi'ah's via the Loom, but with no success. Weaver knows that Chi'ah is not something she can pawn off on someone else. It's existence is her mistake to fix.

History

• Hailing from the jungles of the East, Weaver was bitten by the vicious Aranxian Tyrant-Eater, a spider whose venom is strong enough to wear away at the body of even a Tyrant Lizard. Refusing to die, she lurched through miles of untamed forest-land until she reached the border of Halta, and Luna, impressed by her tenacity, kissed her on the forehead and left her shifting mark upon her. She has stayed in her warform for years now, and is always much amused by newcomer's reactions to her appearance. She is rather guileless and almost always optimistic, She loves children, and is surprisingly accepted around her home as "The Spinner Who Comes Bearing Gifts", for her habit of leaving dolls of soft spun silk at the doors of couples with newborn children. She makes money by taking commissions on her weaving, making such wonders as ropes that can bear great loads, light gowns and clothing that can provide as much protection as chainmail, and once, an entire hut that withstood a hurricane.

And all that was before she met Ten Thousand Steps, a Chosen of Journeys that she saved during an unfortunate incident involving Raksha and the ground. They fell in love, and after months spent together in the jungle, Steps returned to Yu-Shan to join the tiny Silver Faction, but this time offering a powerful member of the Silver Pact as a contact. They share the dream of a way to unite all of Creation together through communication. With help from her Sidereal lover, she knows that she’ll be able to find a way to tie all of Creation together so that it’s population may speak to and help one another no matter the location...

But first, she has found Lookshy being assaulted by the Mask of Winters and has chosen to leave her mountain lair and her experiments to help save them. She cannot allow Lookshy’s resources to fall into the hands of that undead abomination.

Personality

• Weaver is an optimist, despite her past. She tries to find the best way to help everyone in any situation, remaining cheerful throughout. She's quick to make friends with people, and tries to be as honest as possible. She hesitates to say hurtful things to her friends, but is also terrible at lying, particularily to anyone with the power of the Celestial Exalted. Despite her essentially loving nature, Weaver knows how to fight very well, and has allowed herself to submerge into the Lunar's battle fury when she felt there was no other choice. Her shame and guilt at what she has done and the mistakes she has made are kept deep inside her, where they remain like a pearl formed of foulness and despair.
