Though it has been awhile since they have last seen each other Xelteria has learned some of the Wood Dragon Style which befits her favorite weapon. He is an older Sidereal of the Division of Secrests, his name is Ata Zhao, and once he had looked on proudly upon young Xelteria, now he regrads her with disappointment and disdain

History

There are no records of the child that would become Xelteria, Agent of Yu Shan. If one is to look in the files for these things one will not find them. In this, Xelteria is a secret of the Division as assuredly as she is a secret to herself. Her earliest memories are of the dark room somewhere in the Forbidden Manse of Ivy. No light illuminated this room, no sounds aside from her heart. She was young then, just over eighteen years, and she realized her mind ran in circles counting out a string of numbers in erratically and in a random sequence. In fact if there were noise, it was her voice raw and hurting saying those numbers in a low murmur. She was in this dark room for a long time. Every so often she could call upon her Caste mark to provide her light but she learned readily walls of black and a room so empty was more frightening than the dark. Of course there was a pillow, a blanket, and every so often food. She doesn’t know who brings the food. She is naked as well, only a collar wraps around her slender neck, her hands slender and trembling always go to it. As she becomes more aware her numbers starts to fade and light returns to her eyes of violet. It is this day as her understanding of her surroundings become stronger that she notes a woman bringing her food.

Once she understood that she was here by way of another like her she became mentally unhinged and she would break out in fearful and angry words that she herself doesn’t understand. She is taken from the room though and placed in a room of white. So sharp is the white that she refuses to look at it and fear wraps about her heart. For days a man visits bringing food, bringing sounds, he asks her questions, questions she knows no answer for. Questions like, Who ordered the decimation of the city. Was she tormented to accomplish the destruction, how did she trick the various gods to get the demon into Yu Shan. When she cannot answer a sorrow lights his face and feels sorrow at this but she cannot dispel it.

For a year she remains like this, questioned and treated with a detached kindness. She knows that there is fear and anger towards her. What had she done, her minds wonders. She asks a few times but the man that visits her cannot tell her, he says it is for the benefit of all involved.

It is soon determined that whatever had happened had forever taken the memories away and with them the secret to the damage. Obviously some gods and Sidereal enjoy this loss. She is taken from the white room to ‘outside’ at the end of that year. She meets with men and women who attempt to invoke her oldest memories, the Memories of the time before her fateful ruination. They tell her that she might have been a slave of a powerful man for a long time, that this man was a worshipper of the masters of demons, the Yozi. He however lost her when a Sidereal found her and decimated the cult. She was supposedly taken to Yu Shan and trained and it was this way that she Exalted. They tell her that she was a respected agent, a demon hunter of extraordinary tenacity. They also hint that it was this that led her astray. They tell her little more. For half a year she is watched and guarded, no one else seems to know her and that anger towards her seems to not be with others outside of her once small room.

Xelteria learns that she has a Celestial Manse, it had been taken when she had done, whatever it was that she had done, but now it has been returned. She is given her armor and weapon, familiar things to her body but not her mind. And slowly she begins to re-integrate into the Bureau of Destiny. For no one talks of the event, for now she is left along, but she knows that the Division of Secrets watch her. She has regained much of a life forgotten and shattered, but the memories are lost, sealed by the Maiden of Secrets herself or some other powerful force that seals it tight.

--The Event that doomed her
Xelteria was the foremost, determined, and exceptional Demon Hunter of the Convention. She however one time sent to infiltrate a cult to understand what might be behind these things. She was sent to see if the Yozi were planning something with the Solars that had returned. She got in too close and she was seduced by their handsome leader who gave her over to one of the powerful Third Circle demons, where her mind was turned and warped. Taking her determination they turned her against creation and led the cult to something more than what it should have been. A budding city in the West had recently discovered a First Age Fortress that the island Jungles had overcome. Using her powers through the Bureau, Xelteria and the cult took the Fortress only she had also got the attention of the Bureau. To counter them she was sent to Yu Shan to erase their efforts. In her confrontation things went badly awry. A demon had somehow got inside with her and was causing havoc and the Sidereal with other forces confronted her. In Creation an assassination squad took care of the Cult’s handsome leader but not before the fool set the fortress’ self destruct. The explosion destroyed the city and most of the small island. Xelteria was captured, a slave collar used, and held for interrogation, but to protect themselves the tricks and compulsions by the demons on Xelteria activated and shattered her mind, return it to a near blank slate and causing it to recoil from the effort it began to relay numbers to keep it functioning.
