Description:
- The Raider is a swollen-bodied and crudely constructed vessel, designed to be built rapidly by unsophisticated labor and piloted by Chittik Citizens with only mediocre training. The interior is cramped and evil-smelling, and it is not equipped with airlocks or vacc suits. The broad bay doors at the rear are the only method of ingress or egress. In size, it is roughly equivalent to a human frigate
- The usual mode is for the Chittik to stay awake until they reach their destination. At that point, they perform whatever raiding is intended, and load the victims into sleep pods to be returned to the hive. Any spare cold sleep pods are then used by Chittik warriors on the way back. Chittik dislike engaging in heavy person-to-person warfare, and will their armories will usually run heavily to gas weapons in order to rapidly disable the population of unsophisticated and isolated communities. Humans experienced in fighting the Chittik will usually refer to these as "bug bombs."
