Cortexisode-The Cities of Miranda

[Footage of the battle with the Reavers and the crash landing on Miranda]

“I would like to advise the viewing audience to avoid Miranda space. If you decide to come and investigate for your self, please be prepared. You will encounter heavy resistance from Reavers on your way.

[Showing footage of the bodies around the city, starting from the most decayed to the best preserved]

“Walking though the city we are using as a temporary base it is hard to not be disturbed. Bodies litter the street, unmoved and in various states of decay. The bodies are in incredible shape, as if these people had only died a few weeks ago. Many of these people appear to have died at their desks or in their hover cars. The effects of the Pax gas from the Miranda wave stated that it was meant to calm the population. It would seem that many exposed became lethargic and were unable or unwilling to seek medical attention.”

[Showing footage of the bodies all around the hospital]

“Some of the inhabitants did seek medical attention at the hospital. Those that made it this far were locked out or unable to open the doors and simply died on the streets. Scenes like this are common all over the city, bodies lining the streets. We are in the process of moving some of the bodies and burring them. It will be impossible for us to burry the inhabitants from even this city.”

[Showing an over head view of the city and panning into some of the more advanced features]

“It is interesting that such an advanced world could be way out here on the rim and no one know about it. There are several cities scattered about all set up like small core world cities. I cant help but wonder if this was some sort of experiment to prepare this gas for use in the core. Who would want to do such a thing and more importantly why? Please keep your browsers fixed to this Cortex Station as we bring you more Miranda footage!”
