House Meiros (MAY-rows) was formerly a very powerful house in Tyr. When grievances between the house and one of their rivals went sour, the house took the quiet hostilities a step further and declared war on their rival house. Retribution for this infighting was swift and merciless, as the entirety of House Meiros was wiped off the histories, not a single person left alive with enough Meiros blood to attempt to revive the house. The cleansing was so brutal and thorough that House Meiros is used as a lesson to other upstart houses, and there has been no open violence between houses since that day. Rival houses stick to underhanded slights to show their contempt for each other.
