This emblem was "branded" on each of the Survivors while in comatose state by Celera at the government's request. This brand is roughly 1/2" square at the base of the spine, at the tailbone. Government officials were not pleased with the "flamboyance" of the stylized comic book hero shield. Survivor Brand

- SUICIDE: Ziad Atta [age 23]: September 11, 2001, Hijacker Pilot Shot himself on Flight AA 283
- KILLED: Captain Charles F. Edwards III [age 51]: September 11, 2001, Captain, VA - National Academy Grad 1971, dashing but egotistical. He likes to make excessive PA announcements and show off his deep voice. He still wants to go into showbiz, but piloting pays the bills until then. stabbed on Flight AA 283
- KILLED: Satam Jarrah [age 25]: September 11, 2001, Hijacker Leader Shot on Flight AA 283
- KILLED: Daniel King [age 50]: September 11, 2001, First Class passenger. Stabbed on Flight AA 283
- KILLED: Donna Long [age 21]: September 11, 2001, Flight Attendant , she took some time off of college to travel the world and ended up becoming an airline stewardess. stabbed on Flight AA 283
- DIED: Unborn Child of Mary Beth Manly [age 2 years, 9 months]: April 1, 2002, Noted by Dr. Booth the child died in childbirth, saving the mother. At the Rockville, MD facility the Survivors discovered that a child thought to be Mary Beth Manly's unborn baby lay in autopsy, seemingly in 5 different ages:

- KILLED: Rodger Sweeny [age 39]: September 11, 2001, First Officer, stabbed on Flight AA 283
- DIED: Ashton Sawyer [age 24]: January 22, 2005, at 4:23am EST. Possbily the most powerful Survivor. Heart Failure, two days following the Awakening of the Survivors.
