• What did your community used to count on you for? How did you let them down?
  • Vrekix used to be a novice member of the Uprooters-a mitary company tasked with destroying monstrous lairs and warped plantlife near Emerket. He was part of some successful endeavours, but one night he was deceived and failed to notice the illusions outside what turned out to be the undead sorceror Garthok's new lair, mistaking them as a much lesser threat and giving the squad the sign to rush in. He was the only survivor, hopping away from the massacre and Garthok's mad laughter. People told him he was not to be expected to deal with such a notorious threat. They were wrong. Vrekix had been careless and his former comrades paid the price.
• You’ve spent your life searching for an object or book of great significance. What is it and why is it so important to you?
  • Well, that is a bit hyperboic-Vrekix has not been spending his life trying to identify Garthok's actual name and background. There are rumours that Garthok had penned a grimoire of powerful reputation, which he gifted to his first disciple. Thus, Vrekix has been keeping his eyes and (internal) ears open for any relevant information.
• You have a powerful rival. Who are they, and why are you so determined to be their end?
  • RIval? As if-Garthok barely acknowledged the fledgling mage. But he is still out there, evading the Elders' punitive strike. He must pay. Vrekix is no fool, though-no point in rushing towards that goal-besides, he feels he makes more of a difference in his current mission than among the Uprooters. Still, one da there will be a reckoning.
