Background[edit]
Though orginally from Dunwich, Danica grew up in a small town in the desert southwest, only returning to the east coast to attend Miskatonic University as is expected of all scions of her old-money family. She achieved middling grades in her vague yet menacing studdies, emerging with a BS in Parapsychology. After encountering him on the news, she considers Peter Venkman her personal hero and role-model - nobody's ever so successfully monetized and celebritized armed paranormal intervention without a hint of actual paranormal talent. So, of course she wanted to join the local GBI franchise straight out of college.
While she has no real occult power, she's good at faking it for the benefit of others; in college, she once scared off a ghost by convincing it she was psychic. And she is legitimately a hot shot with a proton pack - just don't ask her to carry it long distances. Danica has also made it her mission to try and revitalize the Boston GBI franchise's public image and smooth over relations with the various local regulatory agencies. She tends to avoid dog parks, and wave cheerfully at all passing helicopters, especially black ones. Her only regret in life is having to leave her kitty Snufflax in the radio station back home. He had such cute green spine ridges.
