He was out on a hit and was caught in an alley after the shooting, a gunfight with the police followed and he was hit in the head. He was rushed to the hospital and was in intensive care for the first two months, after that, he sank into a coma. That was twelve years ago.

When he woke-up he was not the same. He had lost his humanity. He went home and found that his family had been taken care of as well as his medical bills, the crime boss that he worked for some dozen years ago had made sure that his familiy had not wanted for anything. He felt as though he owed the man and went to see him.

The crime boss had risen in the ranks to head all of the North American operations. He was taken on a bodyguard and took the name Deathblow.

Deathblow is kept alive though shear force of will, his body died long ago. His death field will kill anyone that stays in contact with him for too long, and that is not very long. In combat he likes to All Out Attack, the effect is that he hits the target and allows himself to be hit in turn, this allows his death field to work twice on the target. Although he does not NEED the life energy that is drained, it does give him the only bit of pleasure that his body can experience.

Deathblow has been sent to watch over Sharpes organization. Deathblow would like to arrange for the old coots death, but he must be careful as everyone is constantly watching him.
