- Aka Ibn Salem - The mortal high priest of the cult of Angra Mainyu. Smells strange, has a toothy grin, Persian. Hints at a great age.
- Wallace - A bully who used to make Eugene eat bugs as a child. Now Eugene's Anchor.
- Dawn - Eugene's teenage daughter.
- Mrs. Stockman - Eugene's vindictive ex-wife.
- Dawson - Noel's ex-boyfriend; their fight made her move back to Brock.
- Gregor - Old friend of Noel's, they never went out. Teacher at Brock C.I
- Noel's Mom - Likes gardening, speaks cryptically sometimes
- Noel's Dad - Ran out on her when she was young, Noel still doesn't know why
- Mrs. Georgefordson - A trophy wife who knows how to keep quiet.
- George Georgefordson Jr. - An offspring who may or may not exist.
- Brock Interfaith Alliance - a united congregation of Angra Mainyu worshipers
Animals[edit]
- Froggy Bear - Georgefordson's beloved cat. After the evil monster within all cats was strengthened to the breaking point, FB is now a monster-cat.
- Demon-Locusts - Giant cross-bred man-crickets. They have special talents for cooking and kidnapping.
Banes[edit]
- It's a Horrible Life - a photograph which reveals an alternate world where you don't exist
- The Banefire - The spark of a fiery tree that was complicit in the murder of a young boy
