Amelia is the latest kitsune to become a royal maid in fulfillment of an ancient pact between the royal family and the Kitsune lord. It could have been worse. They could have sent her little sister, Emily.

Trickster[edit]
Amelia is adept at manipulating those around her to achieve her goals.
- Clever like a fox: spend a PP to step up your Trick die when trying to fool someone.
- Salting the mine: spend a PP to create a Bamboozled d8 asset.
Honesty is Hard[edit]
Amelia is trying hard to be more than the petty trickster the world considers Kitsune to be. It doesn't always go well.
- It's in your nature: Gain a PP and a Distrusted d8 complication when a prank goes over badly, or you come under suspicion due to your background.
Loyal[edit]
Amelia takes her role as Maid and Protector of the royal heirs seriously and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe, and to see that they get what they need (if not always what they want).
- It's my duty: you may create an Exhausted d8 complication to re-roll your physical die when following a royal order.

- SFX - Switcheroo: When you avoid an attack using your powers you may spend a PP to create a d8 complication.
- Limit - Tail: When you roll a spoiler you may reveal your Kitsune nature. One spoiler gains you a d6 complication. Two or more spoilers gains you a complication and PP as usual

A Whole New World[edit]
- 1 XP whenever you discover a new fact about human culture.
- 3 XP when you embrace an aspect of human culture as an on-going part of you.
- 10 XP when you decide to give up your powers and identity as a Kitsune in order to become human, or forsake humanity to return to your Kitsune home.
The Most Royal of Maids[edit]
- 1 XP when you contribute to the royal household, whether folding linens or uncovering a plot
- 3 XP when you impress one of the royal heirs
- 10 XP when you and your fellow maids do a great deed and save the Kingdom (for now)
