SOCIAL[edit]

Virtues[edit]

  • Major: Justice
  • Minor: Ambition (Unite the Peoples of The Dreaming Sea)

Intimacies[edit]

  • Major: It is my Sacred Duty to free the people from oppression (Principle) [Justice]
  • Minor: Kill the Slaver wherever they are found. - Hatred (Principle) [Ambition]
  • Minor: The Dynasts have failed in their duties and must be made humble. - Hatred (Principle) [Ambition]

EXALT[edit]

Zenith Solar

Exalt Milestone: gained if they inspired a significant character with their words.

  • First Among Equals

Solar Exalted always win ties on opposed rolls, even when there’s no clear defender. Solar player characters win ties against Solar Storyteller characters. A contest between two players’ characters should be resolved out of character. Treat the “winning” result as having 0 successes where results would require them.

  • Supremacy of Ability

Solars don’t pay the mote cost to activate Excellencies. This still counts as a Charm use on Step 1.

  • Divine Resonance

Solars are resonant with all magical materials, especially orichalcum.

Anima Effects[edit]

  • All Eyes Upon Me (Passive)

Trivial targets cannot ignore the Zenith’s social actions and will do as she asks as long as the request is reasonable. The Zenith gains the dice bonus from refusing her influence if any target chooses a hard bargain. Outside of combat, the Zenith may spend a mote to sanctify a corpse and reduce it to ash, rendering it beyond the reach of necromancy.

  • Purity of Purpose (Active)

The Zenith adds their Essence in automatic successes to Presence and Performance rolls, or instantly reduces to fine ash any undead Extras or corpses they can perceive. Add the Zenith’s Essence in damage dice against undead battle groups.

  • Highest of Holies (Iconic)

Add the Solar’s Essence in automatic successes to attacks against creatures of darkness. These attacks deal aggravated damage. The first time the Zenith reaches iconic anima in a scene, any battle group led by or consisting of creatures of darkness must immediately make a rout check with the difficulty increased by the Exalt’s Essence.

The Great Curse[edit]

Incitement

  • Diomedes acts against his Major Intimacy.
  • Diomedes acts against his Major Virtue.
  • Diomedes acts against his Minor Virtue.
  • Diomedes' past as a rich noble interferes with his goals.

Virtue Flaw: For The Greater Good (Scene) You cannot make an omelet without breaking some eggs. Diomedes becomes ruthless in the pursuit of advancing his goals, sacrificing his friends and colleagues without a second thought. He will lie, cheat, steal and kill if he thinks it will advance 'the cause.'

MERITS[edit]

  • Contacts (Secondary): The World-Brother has eyes and ears throughout The Dreaming Sea.
  • Artifact (Secondary): Diomedes bears The Will of The United, a cloak made from scraps and tatters of hundreds of royal vestments. It functions as light armor for Diomedes, but it's true power belongs to his acolytes. All those that follow The Road-Maker, and can either see him or stand inside his Anima, can use Diomedes' Integrity to resist mental manipulation or the effects of The Wyld.
  • Followers (Tertiary): Diomedes' Apostles are artisans, organizers, foreman - people who can direct and organize the masses that flock to The Chain-Breaker's banner.
  • Command (Tertiary): Every revolution needs it's revolutionaries. The Hammers are Diomedes' elite guerilla warriors, highly trained, disciplined, and skilled themselves in raising and training more soldiers for the battles to come.
