Character Biography[edit]
Evelyn has spent most of her life prepared for a life of academia and books. Her parents were professors at the University of Richmond, and they nudged her in that direction the entire way. Unlike her parents, however, she wasn't looking into the practical sciences or economics of today, but the fantasy of literature, the world of myths and the historical facts that can be separated from them. While she technically has her doctorate in Ancient Greek History, she found something out that changed the whole world for her. Mythology is real. Well, not completely real, but there is a whole world of faeries, demons and the like spending time with us. Even worse, some of them are using humanity, for food or even killing them just for fun.
She couldn't sit on her hands and do nothing, so she decided to jump right into the fight. And she's been learning ever since that there are folks better suited for the literal jumping parts. Still, she's not going to stop just because of a few bruises, some mental scars..
