Ezra Asa Moore - Gentleman Gambler[edit]

Mr. Moore began life with a fortune laid in his lap, which he promptly misspent during his youth. For a time the vast fortune of his dead parents kept him at the Moore estate. After a silver spoon childhood, his teenage years were spent being kicked by silver-toed boots. Twice more he won and lost his fortune. Then one night he met a fellow gambler that did things no normal man could do. At exorbitant cost, Ezra had the strange American teach him all of his tricks. Then one day a group of Rippers burst in upon them. A raised cross uncloaked the demon from his shell, and the gathered group slew him. Taking the biggest gamble of all, Ezra plead his innocence, promising to join these "Rippers" in their crusade. Yet another gamble with his least-favorite stakes... his own life.
