Chain of Command: You are a soldier, and other soldiers answer to you. Add two to your Contacts skill when using it to deal with soldiers from your organisation.*
Notice Tell: Your keen senses allow you to pick up on the subtle clues that indicate when a person is lying. You may use Notice to defend against Deceive.
Okay, Fine! You can use Provoke in place of Empathy to learn a target’s aspects, by bullying them until they reveal one to you. The target defends against this with Will. (If the GM thinks the aspect is particularly vulnerable to your hostile approach, you get a +2 bonus.)

  • Invoke: to know about a wide range of places and people; to recognize what someone really wants; to bluff or recognize bluffing

The Bag of Tricks
Vlenn has collected a variety of exotic goods that she carries with her.

  • Compels: If the bag itself is endangered; if something in it attracts undesired attention; if someone comes looking to get something she has
  • Invoke: to have just the right item; to sweeten a pot with a tempting trade good; to impress people

History

Vlenn was raised among the Shadow-Sellers, a scattered clan who trade in hard-to-get and black-market goods: weapons, magical items, alchemicals and drugs, etc. When the wars started, she took her knowledge of weapons and enlisted. To her surprise, she thrived there, and by the end of the war she was leading a squad as Sergeant.

When people dispersed for the peace, Vlenn stayed and helped the effort to bring the fighters of the Free Cities together into the Free Army--a group dedicated to protecting the Cities from any external threats. Once again, her passion and leadership were recognized, and over the years she grew into a recognized leader.
