Festering Swamps

These swamps extend for miles to the west, almost to the city of Tirion 200 miles away. To the south, the swamps extend all the way to the Great Ocean, nearly 20 miles from the city. They are inhabited by all manner of creature such as ferocious man-eating crocodiles and snakes, to living dead from a bygone age. They are also infested with all manner of insects that can suck a man dry of blood in a manner of hours. Despite those risks, many a poor fisherman makes a meager living by fishing the bayous and harvesting the local wild berries and tubers.
