The alien being known as Firewing was the champion of all champions in the gladiatorial games of his home world. There was none equal to his power, and it was killing him. Where would he go to find a challenge?

He posed this question to his masters, they decided to send him of on a scouting mission. It had come to their attention that there was a planet where meta-beings where appearing in so numbers. This would not due as the planet was scheduled for conquest in the next hundred years.

Firewing was sent to this planet to test the strength of these metahumans, and to soften up the defenses of the planet in preparation for it eventual conquest.

Firewing is a powerful elemental with the mastery over fire. He can in times of need boost his power to ungodly levels, it has been a long time since he has had to do so.
