America watches their favorite television programming. The popular show LOST airs... Episode #29 "Everybody Hates Hugo" Hurley struggles with an assigned task inside the hatch as he flashbacks to disturbing memories in his life before the crash. Meanwhile, Sawyer, Michael and Jin learn the identities of their captors on the island. Claire uncovers a startling piece of information about the fate of the raft.

15 minutes in episode #29 it fades with it's familiar title sequence buzz as the word "LOST" slowly rushes toward the camera, the 3- Dimensional word coming into focus for a short second before fading to commercial break...

[FADE IN]

The garbed hum of snowy static loudens as your television screen transitions from black to the familiar off air static... [MUSIC] The slow melodic hum of the THX theme fades in replacing the static tone ramping up it's own drole tone ..................................

Suddenly! a BLACK SCREEN

[MUSIC] A low steady pounding drum starts slow and gradually increases tempo with the downbeats matching the voiceover that begins...

[MOVIE GUY VOICEOVER] "In the world just outside your window..."

[CUT SCENE From black to an action scene]

The small video camera shakes on the scene as if the man filming were scared for his life... Grainy and jilted the camera pans up from the gray dark cobblestone street in Georgetown to a rubble-ridden crater. People with awe and terror in their eyes run from the center- scene. A young woman and her two children climb from a yellow taxi underneath the DC-Metro bus that hangs some nine feet off the ground!! A man, slightly out of focus is lifting it!!!

[QUICK CUT back to black]

[MOVIE GUY VOICEOVER] "...THEY came out of hiding, returned from dead"

[Quick SNAP CUT to action]

You see an video image far below, as some 300 people are hoisted aloft in a glowing field commanded by an inhuman power directed by a man in the distance leading the riot... They quickly speed into the up upper atmosphere out of sight.

[in awe the MOVIE GUY VOICEOVER] "and they have power."

[Quick CUT to multiple scenes of action]

- an image of a man lifting over 100 people in the air, some struggle as if being ripped from the ground. - a firey glow charges from a hispanic man's eyes and as far as the eye can see cars, trucks, buses, every vehicle erodes to dust! - a woman shown head down being escorted into a courtroom, on trial for murder... fades to fire then to the words NOT GUILTY with a question mark following. - a streaking blur jets through a middle American town... soon following the street behind him cracks and a young man ages 10-15 years, caught in the wake. - the camera focuses in on the face of that man holding the DC-metro bus... his facial reation turns from struggle to confidence and a smile creeps across his face.

[a notably scared MOVIE GUY VOICEOVER] "...Power unlike any weapon mankind could OR SHOULD weild!

[GRADUAL FADE from the same man's face to...]

Brian Jaffe's face, much clearer... Panning out from the tight shot on his face with a zoomed lense, to the wide angle shot. The screen is filled with an insanely "holy shit" moment... The man has ripped over a half dozen middle American homes, vehicles, trees, and terrorized people into the air some 4-5 feet!!

[a saddened MOVIE GUY VOICEOVER, as if shaking his head] "...they say power corrupts... and Absolute power corrupts...."

[CUT TO BLACK as the movie guy pauses]

[SOUND]

Your television blares at it's loudest, sounding as one hundred sonic booms happen and then the unbridaled chaos of a cacaphony of crashing sound... metal, wood, flesh and bone.

[MUSIC] Deep in the background Carl Orff's classical music 'Carmina Burana-O Fortuna' plays and blares at it's climax as the scene crashes. (this is the song from Excalibur the movie)

[QUICK CUT back to visual]

From a distance the video catches up with the sound, you hear screams in the distance. Car alarms of half destroyed cars blare. The neighborhood is destroyed seemingly with the thought of one inhuman tyrant - still himself floating in the waste! And his face is angry!!

[CUT TO BLACK]

[MOVIE GUY VOICEOVER] "...corrupts absolutely..."

[QUICK CUT back to visual] A little boy... his pantleg knee scuffed as he lies beyond in the street...

[MOVIE GUY VOICEOVER] "...how can we not fear them?..."

[MUSIC: the THX theme punctuates the commercial]

[CUT TO BLACK]
