Fish Wharf

Down the coast from the Black Dock is Fish Wharf. A smaller frontage spotted with wooden jettys, this is where most of the small fishing ships of the city sail from. Small shacks made of driftwood and mud line the streets as the fishermen are not fussy or wealthy folk. A massive open square sits in the centre of the stretch of the wharf which is full every morning until noon of fishermen selling their wares for the day.

A long wooden boardwalk runs along the front of the wharf, built up above the pebble beach. Various creatures make their homes in huts under the boardwalk including sahuagin, water nymphs, merfolk and yet more fishermen. The entire area of Fish Wharf is possessed of a fairly convivial, friendly atmosphere as most of the people around and about are poor fishermen, not great targets for criminals, and not too likely to mug a passer-by on whim. As a result, the streets here are fairly safe, though the entire region absolutely reeks, as you might expect.
