One of the few redshirts that hasn't actually done anything horrible, including ever kill anyone (his reasoning is "if you kill them, then they don't know you beat them"), he still dies a lot. Thanks to foresight* and actually being an intern on the ship (meaning they have to return him at some point), he has been resurrected each time (rather than used as undead/made an aberration/put under "spare parts"/cooked).
