Marik was born into house Deneith by his mother and father, both barons and bearers of the mark of Sentinel. Marik never developed a dragonmark and put much shame to his mother and father because of it. However he continued to become a grand fighter and developed a fine position in the house.

During his years of existence he has served almost every force on Eberron. The inspired of Reidra, the order of the Emerald Claw and even the Silver Flame, however he was banished from Thrane and not allowed to return for being discovered by the knights to be the coordinator of a lolicon manga staring Jaela. Ketler was the only buyer.

Marik joined the Forgotten Freedom after being expelled from the house via a nasty throwing accident where he stabbed the house patriarch in the eye.

Mariks exact words when he was thrown out:

“FINE! I’ll make my own Mercantile House, with hookers AND flapjacks… in fact. FORGET THE HOUSE!”

Marik is proving himself to be just as perverted, just as crazy and just as evil as everyone else on the FF. Thus far he’s fitting in rather well.
