Frozen Arrow Crescent

Arrow's probably not very popular with the Silver Pact right now, despite services rendered. Even though he has the requisite moonsilver tatoos, most Lunars consider him to seek Chimerism even more actively than the Casteless do. This is, of course, part misunderstanding - Arrow would sooner die than surrender his intellect and free will - but his calculating, experimental tone towards the Wyld is far more accomodating towards Fair Folk and mutants. After all, if all the mutants died, who would he assimilate? Frozen Arrow Crescent

"A skin is but another cheap chrysalis to discard when necessary. Grow too attached to your form, and someone will steal it from you."

Motivation: Achieve dynamic perfection

Inspirations: Ryld Argith and Jeggred from War of the Spider Queen, Orc Bladesmaster, Nrvnqsr Chaos

Changing Moon: May make an illusion to appear as whoever they wish, adding their Type quality to any rolls to inspire trust. Their Type Quality is the TN of any attempts to see through the disguise. If the Exalt's anima banner is active their Type Quality determines the TN of any attempts to recognize the Exalt. 8 Motes. (also automatic at 10+)

Tell: Ears. Arrow wears a strip of scarlet cloth around his head to cover them in most situations; this works because his ears are higher up on his head than those of normal humans.

Pursuit: Physical Perfection

Forms: 16

-(Wolf – Spirit), Giant Squid, Giant Spider, Hawk, Fox, Simhata, Shark, Strangler’s Serpent, Strix, Mammoth, Coral Snake, 5 human forms (3 highly attractive females, 1 highly attractive male, 1 innocuous, almost asexual female) selected for region

Crescent’s Spirit Shape is a staggeringly massive specimen, standing nearly five feet at the shoulder (think Urshul form in Werewolf).

Knacks: Deadly Beastman Transformation, Prey’s Skin Disguise, Quicksilver Second Face, Partial Morph Mastery, Perfected Hybrid Interaction, Towering Mammoth Form

Deadly Beastman Form:

Rending Claws [+6], Power Attack

Regeneration [+4], Armor-Like

Perfected Hybrid Interaction: Arrow’s War form has been customized to his liking – it sports four arms. Two are almost human, simply furry and with slightly elongated and sharper nails. The other two…well, this was my inspiration:

Basically he looks like that, only wolfish instead of spiderish (no mane, more fur), and the talons on his long claws are extended, while the fingers themselves are shorter. He’s also about three times as muscled, especially in the leg area.

Essence 2

Essence Pool: 18/36

  • Indomitable Alpha Male [+6]

Arrow is a natural leader and an absolutely implacable foe. By dogged strength of will, he can forge coalitions, resist temptation, and fight on despite innumerable wounds.

[5m] Moonlight Banner Unfurled - Arrow dislikes it when people attack his packmates. He developed this Charm when he was a special operations midwife, to protect fledging Lunars from the Wyld Hunt. Arrow is invigorated by enemy assault, so long as he is the one being targeted. Occasionally, when he feels he has met a worthy opponent, Arrow uses this Charm in single combat. This Charm is scene-long, but can be deactivated at will. The motes are committed.

When this Charm is active, all attacks made against Arrow are upshifted, as the Moonlight Banner makes him very easy to target. All enemies in the area must make an opposed Type Quality roll against Arrow or feel powerfully compelled to attack him (they won't attack if they're dying or running away, but if they're in the battle they should attack). Of course, if another player is fighting an enjoyable enemy, this Charm should be ignored - it's meant to complement the other characters, not steal the spotlight.

Arrow gains a number of extra attacks per turn equal to the combined Essence total of all enemies attacking him. Five mortals count as one point of Essence. This bonus cannot exceed 6 attacks, after which he must begin downshifting. Of course, if Arrow's facing 6 Essence worth of enemies, he's probably either highly outnumbered or outclassed.

[3m/clone] Relentless Hunt

During his many duels with fellow Lunars, Arrow gained an appreciation for the power of the Feint (see the Feint charms in the Lunar tree). He developed this Charm as a counter.

The Alpha is always with his pack, even if the pack resides in his soul. Arrow unleashes his adamant will upon his foes, creating a very potent Illusion effect. He may generate "clones" equal to his Essence; these clones are purely fictional and cannot damage Essence-wielders. Mortals that are completely fooled by the illusions might take Failure Ranks, depending on GM discretion.

The clones are usually used to spread chaos among crowds or set up a flanking attack against a single foe. They have only 8 Quality Points to absorb damage, and use Arrow's offensive and defensive rolls for the round.

Arrow makes a single 3d6 + Type Quality + Alpha Quality roll when invoking this Charm; this determines the TN for finding the "real" Arrow and can be contested with mental Qualities of any sort. Otherwise, the foe's ability to strike Arrow is reduced to mere chance (GM Fiat, should be 1/3rd of the time), though it's pretty easy to kill a clone. Of course, an enemy could simply make multiple attacks to hit Arrow and his clones all at once, assuming they were all in range.

When used in conjunction with Moonlight Banner Unfurled, only one version may hoist the Banner, which transfers to another upon destruction.

  • Rise to the Occasion [+4]

Arrow’s one great joy is adversity – when confronted with opponents who rival or exceed his skill, or by circumstances that stack the deck against him, his engagement leads him to greater heights of focus and resolve. Arrow never, ever relents in the face of opposition.

  • Otherworldy Grace [+6]

Through long and relentless practice, Arrow’s mastery over his forms has grown to the point where he wears each with flawless control. Not only are his forms physically beautiful, they move with a breathtaking – some say unnatural – grace.

At war, he is a hurricane of graceful silver death, darting through his foes as a mirror-bright flur of cutting moonlight.

Warmaster [+4]

Trained in the eternal art of strife, Arrow is a recognized Warmaster and possesses the requisite skills. Warmasters are no mere fighters or warriors, proficient only in the sword: they are generals, champions, sentinels, and assassins. This is a class-type Quality that quantifies Arrow’s training and mindset. Arrow recognizes that every challenge and confrontation in life is a battle, open or disguised, and he has the tactics and prowess to prevail.

Special Move: Tearing At the Flanks

Like a wolfpack incarnated into a single frame, Arrow can savage an opponent’s weakest points, tearing them to pieces at the conclusion of the hunt. Whenever he strikes at a foe not in personal combat with himself, he upshifts his attacks. Arrow will use this ability to lash out at enemies attacking his pack, forcing them to engage him instead.

Weakness: Staring Into the Abyss

Arrow wanders a bit too close to Chimerism for his fellow Lunars to be comfortable with him. Lunars that behold his War Form may be put on edge by his modifications.

Great Curse: Chimerical Ascent

Trigger: Arrow is forced to shame himself or grovel to a being he considers unworthy.

For the duration of Chimerical Fury (one scene), Arrow is a bloodthirsty killing machine who believes himself to be a Chimera and will imitate one as closely as possible.

Possessions: 2x Tanto, 2x Jian, 1x Long Jian, Food, Clothes (Street and Formal), Grappling Hook, Rope, Waterskin, pack, folding razor.
